I'm not implying there's one in the works, just refuting your claim that backwards compatibility on Xbox One negates the use of a remaster. Gears of War is backwards compatible on Xbox One and yet also has a remastered edition. If Microsoft is willing to do that with their own exclusives you really think Rockstar would hold off on an RDR remaster just because all 300 Xbone owners can play it via backward compatibility? Remasters actually improve the graphics and performance of a game, often adding new or updated features. All things that backwards compatiablity on XBone lacks. All that being said I hate the concept of "HD versions" and "Remasters" that has plagued the last 2 gens.
