What we got was obviously a concept trailer on what they want to do with the game, they didn't show off actual gameplay mechanics they've created but mechanics they want to put into the final game

Everyone seems to fail to remember the fact that Activision has been pumping out Spider-Man games as low budget licensed titles to make a quick buck. Spider-Man hasn't been part of their bread and butter since they ended up scoring with their own original properties.
