I'm hoping that this will reveal that Nagito is more than just someone who saw an opportunity for hope to spring forth from despair. I want it to turn out that he was instrumental in creating the opportunity for Junko to initiate the killing game, just so that he could go on to kill her and become hope, just like he's doing now (or then, anyway) with Monaca. For me, Nagito is one of my favorite characters because there's so many weird layers to him, and I just want them to reveal him as the ultimate chessmaster of the series - the Bigger Bad - and give us a strong setup for his resentment for Makoto, who ultimately was the one who stole his opportunity to become the Ultimate Hope.
So I played both games, what's the names of the animes so I can catch up.

If there is a dub, how likely is it that the VAs from the games will reprise their roles for the anime? I played all the games in English because the class trials feel more natural that way, and I got used to the voices. I found DGR2 to be somewhat boring for stretches of time, and then becoming a little more interested during trials. IIRC Hopeman was on the fence. On one hand, his fanatical devotion of "The Ultimate Hope" caused him to hate Junko with every part of his being since she represented the Ultimate Despair. On the other hand, he also believed that only through the greatest despair can the ultimate hope come, and he believed that hope will always overcome despair so he more or less stuck around, and he also came to love her because he thought that only through Junko could the ultimate hope be formed.
