It is a literal roll of dice. Before we used to get really good gets, nowadays we sometimes get good game but most of the time the games are quite meh.
If you have all 3 consoles like i do you should probably subscribe since it is 6 games per month. If you only have a PS4 i wouldn't recommend it unless you like to play online.

It's not what it used to be. It doesn't pay for itself in free games anymore, because the free games are crap.
Ever since the PS4 came around most of the monthly games have been crap. Only decent if you are willing to buy a lot during sales but that is about it. Skip it.

A lot of them are digital only and it's cheaper to spend 10 bucks for 2 games (four if you have a PS3 and 4) instead of like 20-30$ for each individual game.

You have to get it to play most online multiplayer games. Sometimes they offer some really good games a month, and sometimes they don't. I only get pissed off if I buy a game only to have it be one of the next months 'free' games. It is definitely a 'your milage may vary' situation.

Absolutely, it's pretty cheap and you sometimes get free games.
Gat out of Hell is fun to fly around in so there's fifteen bucks I don't have to spend. Sometimes they release something nice to download so it's worth keeping around to play games you might not bother with otherwise.

Whilst it's easy to knitpick this, it's a service I would pay for anyway.
I actually paid for plus before it was forced, because I am a good goy.
Most of the free games are disposable to me anyway, because if I wanted them, I would buy them in physical.
More to the point, if people could pay £3 to get £20 quids worth of games to keep forever, the games would be bad rats every month. A rolling licence is the only way.

I used to subscribe to PS+ when it was first announced to check out some PS3 games and then later subscribed for a year for Vita and had many good games for it.
Now I'm pretty mad that when I want to play some EDF with friend I need to buy this shitty subscription just to play few hours online, they should have at least made online free for weekend or something like that.
This month gives Paragon access, Gat out of Hell, and Furi. I'm gonna download paragon later and Gat out of Hell to play with a friend.

the only people still subbed to it are either people that use it for online or people who got hooked onto it from the very beginning that don't care about online, but also don't want to more than half of their ps3 and ps4 library

You can get it for $40 a year and it's not great but it's a good deal. Rocket League, NBA 2K16, and Walking Dead season 2 are about worth $40 to me. Plus if I buy a Vita, I'll have some games to play.
