Do you still buy physical copies of games or have you gone full digital?
Physical every chance i get
fuck digital only
>>344005705
Physical on consoles, digital on PC and handhelds
physical so when i have grandkids i can pass down relics of the past as family heirlooms
>>344005783
This desu
Full digital, but I'd like to have some physical copies to have something to look at on my shelves.
Always physical on consoles, usually digital on PC (since I have no other option)
>>344005705
I have gone full torrent a while back.
>>344005705
Depends on what option is cheaper.
>>344005776
You will deny me my right to pirate games? OFF WITH YOUR HEAD!
I'm just here for the chuuni.
I'm just here for the chuuni.
Question time /v/, if you buy a game that got some form of limited print, do you open the game and play it, or do you keep it sealed and then buy the game digitally?
both, on consoles. tho leaning more towards digital nowadays
digital on pc because you have no other choice
>>344005939
>>344005938
W-what
>>344005940
I don't collect sealed games.
>>344005705
Unfortunately I have all but abandoned console gaming, so physical copies are a thing of the past. The last physical copy of a game I bought was Ground Zeroes years ago.
Also best girl
>>344005940
dont get whats the point of collecting stuff that's sealed... like wow you got a figurine except it has no breasts and you cannot get off too it... you only have a game you can never game just look at
>>344005705
both. PC is obviously pure digital, but i buy digital for consoles if it's either a multiplayer game (that i will be playing often with friends), super small/short game that doesnt warrant a physical copy, or is on a good sale
>>344005705
Physical whenever it's cheaper than buying it on Steam.
Which is actually a majority of the time outside of sales. Fuck Steam.
I'm just here for the chuuni.
>>344005705
I want to fuck Nibutani
Always physical on consoles, digital or pirate on PC.
I don't even play much on PC, other than online shit.
>>344006623
At least you finally posted the good version
>>344005839
Why would your grandkids give a shit about heirlooms they can download from the internet in a matter of seconds?
>>344005705
I do buy physical games, I just don't have any of the current consoles yet, so I'm downloading earlyAlthough I did buy the special edition of Gone Home because it was really cheap in a store and it's made like an SNES box
>>344006865
downloading only*
A* SNES box
wew it's early
>>344006779
why do we still have the declaration of independence on an old wrinkly sheet of paper when we can store it online? why do we still make paper books?
we have to treasure the relics of the past... it just isn't the same online
also because theyre going to get serious on piracy eventually and shut down any kind of illegal game downloading
>>344006623
i want to fuck her

>>344005938
>>344005939
MOOOOOOOOOOOTTTTT
>>344010221
Who???
Digital
digital only for a long time now
I buy digital when there is a good sale to make up for the zero resale value also helps to save on space
>>344012275
>zero resale value
Why would you sell your vidya if it's not some ancient collector's piece
I prefer physical but a vast majority of my games is digital now. Hell it's hard to find physical. Most have a code to make you download anyways.
My only beef with digital is when it's digital via Steam since you don't own the game aka they can take the game from you. Otherwise things like Gog, and as far as I'm aware Origin, are fine as a means of acquiring digital.
>>344012735
Steam can take the game away from you?
>>344005705
I buy physical whenever possible, because collecting is half the fun. The biggest problem I have now is that there are a lot of older games I want, but they're not available brand new anymore, and I have crippling OCD. I'm not sure what to do.
>>344012909
No, they cannot. If they did, you could easily sue them
>>344005940
I open it and play it. My collection is just for me. I don't care about showing it off to other people or keeping it sealed to preserve its value. It's not like I'm ever going to sell it and try to get a better price if it's sealed.
