I looove it. I mean, I love the minigun but it's so unwieldy and buggy sometimes. When you need to clean out a deathclaw nest it's OK, but when you need to shoot some Fiends or Geckoes or whatever, it really isn't the best option. And the carbine is perfect here. Sure, DAM sucks but that DPS though, and -10DT on basic ammo means anything not wearing heavy armour will feel it. It's such a nice little spammy gun.

lvl 10 right now, but I am in the pitt right now so no super mutants, I can barley handle the basic ones with the stuff I got right now as new vegas super mutants are much harder considering dt makes them shrug off anything 5.56 and below, .357 works okay but any .308 rifle is preferred but the ammo is much rarer and harder to find compared to vanilla fallout 3. Hoping I can use some the of unique from here to kill them so I can get to new vegas but the auto axes are pretty much completely broken animation wise and the laser rifle has awful texture problems.

I didn't install any texture mods for the weapons just yet but I assume that would fix the issues, I know there are some that have been converted but the only things with issues is this rifle and the unique laser rifle which may be that way by design considering it's the pitt. not sure if the autoaxe fix would work for ttw since alot of things are moved around.

From your screenshot it seems the wrong texture has been applied onto the weapon, and it seems to only affect 1st person models. If you know your way around the GECK try playing around the 1st person static models in Fallout3.esm and see what's wrong. It's odd that only 2 guns are affected by this. Any mods you're using that could cause this?

the weird thing is the chinese assault rifle that npcs have looks fine usually, lucas simms had a normal one and I know it's not a character specific gun, jerichos looks fine but I know its a npc only gun. Textures also look fine when the item is droped. I'm not really familiar with the geck at all.

Texture replacers won't do much unless they change the mesh. It's obviously a plugin issue. You could try reinstalling TTW but it may fuck up your gamesave. Or else, try to learn the GECK basics to fix the issue yourself.
