It's based on their location in relation to yourself. If they're to the left of you, you can immediately tell by audio, and allows good players to quickly react. Sorry you're too retarded to play a game without sound.

Thats not the problem. A bad roadhog feeds ult to the enemy team like nothing else. This can lead to a loss easily.
