Was about to give up on the second boss, it has some fucking retarded phases. Glad I beat it, because the third one was super fun. On the fourth right now, it's fairly easy until the very last phase, which is really annoying if you miss a dodge and get a blurry screen that fucks you up even more.
I think some fights do go on for way too long, specially if you're stuck on a certain boss phase, you're forced to go through all of the previous ones again and again.

On further inspection it looks like a really damn good game.
While I typically hate hexagons and random glowing lights the 10 minute boss fight managed to be engaging the entire way through and the no-nonsense boss rush bullet hell sort of feel looks fun as hell. The Ost is fucking 10/10. Definitely gonna look into this game.

Look at games like Payday 2 and Warframe.
Those games have huge playerbases and active developers, but the devs aren't working with the biggest budgets or anything.
Hell even most Valve games were clearly made with mid-sized teams on an in-house engine.
That being said I really wish for a future where most games cost $15-$40 instead of the one we're in where games are either $10-$15 indie titles or $60 AAA titles
