You need to understand, College doesn't mean to you what it does to Japanese people. for Japanese people most of their school life is prepping towards College, , which is it's the moment their adult life is fully set in, not the 'first bits of true independence' it is for western and europeans, but the 'end' of all their prep work. High School for them was their last 'moment' before adult reality was fully set, and their career/life adult obligations set in.

For your first playthrough, I'd say you're better off avoiding the epilogue, which is a nice bonus, but ruins the ending when it follows right on from the normal end. In addition to that, avoidng Marie is just good because she's an annoying bitch and you can spend that time with characters you like instead. Golden still adds plenty without going near Marie.

What? Yukiko is so boring, her only notable character trait was her laughing, which was just annoying. They made her like horror movies and shit in the spin offs and Golden, but most of her content in P4 remains her being a boring, whiny bitch who won't shut up about her hard life where everybody loves her and supports her.
Also, this is more of a complaint with the whole IT crew than just Yukiko, but she did annoy me the most in the confrontation with Adachi, and while the whole IT crew annoyed me in that instance, she seemed the most like a spoiled kid that had no idea what she was talking abput.

Maybe I'm just retarded, but I cannot remember a single instance of that. I remember her being an autist and accidentally insulting Yosuke as a result a few times and making cringeworthy lines like "I'll crush you", but otherwise I don't remebr any banter.
For that matter, most of the "banter" in P4 was just mean spirited and not good fun between friends at all, most notably, Yosuke implying Kanji was gay. Nobody but Yosuke found it funny, and Chie even had to tell him at one point that he was just being a prick and he should stop making those jokes. There was some banter that was actual fun between friends though, although it didn't seem like any more than there was in P3.

Maybe I'm used to more mean spirited banter than most, but more often or not I thought it was those interactions that made the team feel more genuine. You got it a bit with Yukari and Junpei, but that's about it, and at times it really did seem in poor taste.

Yukiko is quiet and reserved. But not every character does personality traits necessarily the same way, as she shows to be more open depending on the situation. She also has more of a quirky side now (or at least emphasized and expanded on) to her and that's fine. Also people have pointed it out that they have made an effort to do more with her in later games, so even if she wasn't what you said she was (which I disagree with), she has more personality traits now which are present and accounted for. Anyway, all the characters have their pros and cons, and it's going to be what it is. Yukiko can be quiet and reserved, and so have the people you mentioned.

That's a P4G only line, is there anything in the main game? I won't deny that Yukiko is far more endearing in spin-offs, although I'm still not too fond of her, but vanilla P4, she had nothing, and that's what I base this off of as the spin-offs flanderise pretty much every character. Yukiko is the exception because she had so little personality in vanilla P4 that they had to pretty much make a new personality for her, one in which she's psychotic and loves horror.
I hate to move the goalposts, but I'd just like to know if this is a one off thing or not, because if it were really such a notable part of her character that it cake to mind for you, I'm left to wonder why I don't remember it at all.
