My 64 gb vita memory card has an issue where data randomly becomes corrupted, and once it starts it is impossible to write anything (all attempts to save any game will cause the save data to become corrupt, and the corrupt save will be backed up to ps+). Once this starts I have to format the card and redownload all my games again.

It's a UHS-1 card, it's faster than what's in the Vita by far. If your device does not support UHS-1 it defaults to class 10 speeds, still faster than the Vita's memory cards.
