I'm done all but the last post-game boss of EOU but got bored with grinding so switched back to EO4.
Is EO2U better? I find EO4 superior to EOU in almost every way except for some quality of life improvements like running and skipping battle animations.

Yes.
I haven't played EO4, but I have an impression many consider it to be the weakest in the series. EO2U has much better QoL stuff, like UI and skill descriptions etc.
So far I'm finding the story a bit less engaging the first one though.
And this time the story party is less standard "tank, healer, dps x3", and is full of hybrid characters that worklike shittogether. But this is kind of interesting to deal with it.

Depends. Classic memers will say no, but I'd say yes.
The devs put effort in the story mode when they remade those games, why wouldn't you want to experience it? Also completing story mode first unlocks more stuff in classic.

Shit list
Started Medarot DS the other day. It's fun but so far not really better than any of the other Medarot games.
Also, I wish I could put some kind of border in DS mode on the 3DS.

Just finished SF3 today, and holy shit that was a great game. Really nice combat, with tons of standard and illegal chips, with changeable noise forms, and meteor chips levels.
The story is quite good with some dark moments, the pacing is nice and overall it feels good to play and not a slog at all to play through the story.
I miss some of the gimmicky minigame sections though, and the amount of sidequests are too low. Shame it won't ever get a sequel.
