I've been watching some of my old replays and I was just wondering. I do like him as a character, and I mix it up between him and ken.
Not as a main. It's been said often that has some potential as a side character, but suffers much like gief in having to put in work as a main.

SF5 is that game and I decided I wanted to main Alex. I've lost 15 casual matches in a row and I've been perfected both rounds 3 times.

Casual matches don't necessarily pair you with people on you skill level so don't take those losses seriously.
Don't be afraid to lose on ranked, since that's where you'll find people who are also new. I lost tons of games as Alex before I got the hang of him and now I sit comfortably at bronze.
Best part of using low tiers like Alex is that no one knows wha to expect. They let me fully charge sledgehammer full screen thinking they'll block it. Their guard breaks and I get heavy chop into ex suplex.
Always remember that most people who play this game suck and don't play absolutely optimally. The shit you see on twitch and youtube is 1% of players. Everybody was once like you until they got better thru determination and practice. There is no shortcut. Just be prepared to lose a lot before you "git gud" esp with a game like street fighter. Most people give up because fighter require more patience and time than other genres.

Here's a quick Alex gimmick for you that will let you shit all over scrubs.
Make them block towards+HP, the big spinning arm move. If they block it you're at +3, meaning things like if they try to do anything other than jump, backdash, or use an invincible reversal, power bomb will catch them. You mix it up with MP because it will tag them if they try to hit any button that isn't invincible, or if they try to jump or backdash away from the power bomb that you scared them with.
It's slightly more complicated than that but you will fuck lots of bitches with it.

story mode and character story are a complete joke. the AI is laughably bad and you can perfect them with using just one or two good normals over and over again.

I'v ebeen playing Bison since the first beta and decided to try Balrog. Did some combos in training mode with boxer, hopped online, and dropped from Platinum to Gold in one day.
I win some games with Balrog, but after playing Bison it feels like uphill battle, and I have no idea what to do in some situations

He is as dead as the character can be. Even if you saw his soul explode you could make up a dumb psycho power related reason to have it reformed. All that is needed is that every sees him as dead, he does appear to be dead and he is not actively doing anything that effects SF3.

I will say I'm a Ryu main, but I really can't see what Ryu has to give him an advantage in those matchups. He can't use his hakoken's against Nash without basically doing nothing but giving him V-gauge and he has much worse normals/dashes in general compared to those two.

His body was already reaching its end (white hair) and he needed FANG to enact operation chains for him to boost his power level. I'm assuming he caused all that shit so that he could draw out Ryu (the strongest fighter) so that he could defeat him and finally take his body. When he realizes Ryu is too strong he realized how foolish he was and started laughing because he's fucking Bison.

As I said, he does have those things if you look at them in a vaccum but I don't see how they prevent him being at a constant disadvantage in neutral against those characters, which is a pretty big deal. It's also not like whiffing a reversal doesn't get you completely fucked in SFV with crush counters.
Damage is nice but I don't think it makes up for being forced to play Nash/Chun's game every match which I think you can see very well in Tokido/Infiltration games, where it's pretty obvious Infiltration is at an advantage and the one controlling the pace of the game pretty much all the time.

Ryu can kill anyone with 4 shoryukens and 3 sweeps.
His dash is 16 frames, faster than Nash's, his sweep is 7 frames, he has a retarded 3f jab as an anti-air, besides shoryuken and parry. Ryu is pretty much a walking wall that can be anywhere he wants to be. He has retarded pressure on the corner, and if his basich c.hp hp shoryuken ain't enough, he will always have super in stock, since he doesn't need meter for anything.
Ryu and Ken are the only characters deserving a nerf. They both does way too much damage for the effort it takes to get in and to do the combos and should have their damage toned down a bit, and Ryu doesn't deserve a meterless reversal. Also, Chun's s.lk and Necalli's s.lp should be tweaked.
