Shame, I'd love to play a Prime style game on PC today.
I'm just starting to get sick of all the con-man memes. I mean okay, memes are funny but /v/ has reached a point where they forgot that it's a meme and where this joke originally came from.

He's a con man. He coasts on his association with Mega Man. Everyone still thinks he's the "creator of Mega Man". He's never made a game in his life, outside of contributing art or designs. He's a producer/illustrator who takes credit for other people's work. And he used that to get a nice 4 million dollar check from Mega Man fans. And it turns out he's not even a good businessman.

That 4 milllion was all spent on production. Do you think Inafune made that himself? Game production is hella expensive. Ini-Creates and Comcept have a lot of people, and they hired a bunch of people for ports and other things.
The plan was to use crowd sourcing for initial funds, then turn it into a cash cow series. Spin offs, sequels, spin off media, merchandise is where the money would come from. And guess who owns the rights to the characters and series? Keiji Inafune and Comcept. He's CEO of the company. See, he never made Mega Man, and doesn't own the rights to it. This way he creates a clone that he does own the rights to.
Basic run down of Igarashi's panel was talking about his past history at Konami, how he got the job and what he did there as a programmer and how the success of Tokimeki Memorial essentially got him carte blanche with the higher ups there.
The Bloodstained segments mostly focused on how the Kickstarter came to be, why he went through with it and all that. Also some backstory bits came up, primarily that Bloodstained's plot will focus on themes of religious fear and the fight over distribution of wealth apparently. Another point was over how the hardest part of development so far has been managing the game's budget while also helping establish a new studio/company.
Iga also stated that he wants to remain in constant contact with the backers throughout development so criticism and new ideas can be integrated. He also acknowledged the Mighty No. 9 fiasco and basically said he wants to strive to create a game the fans can enjoy and not disappoint them.

If Iga delivers, then it means he's a good dev after all. And if he properly sets up a studio, he can attract better talent than Ini-Creates (who themselves are kinda mediocer).

Nope, you cannot give any credit on MN9 for it.
Comcept never set up their booths. They spent money renting the booth space and then never, ever actually delivered. Kind of symbolic for the game.
