The closest thing we have to anything regarding her origins is that Yorshka seems to be the same species as her and calls Gwyndolin "brother." Now does this mean that Gwyn's wife fucked Seathe? They put too much Bloodborne into Dark Souls. Hyper aggressive bosses make sense in Bloodborne because your character is a bullet in that game. You move like lightning and so as long as you have the reaction time to interpret the move you can get out of the way. In Dark Souls you move much slower and weight is a thing in this game and yet the bosses move as if you're still playing Bloodborne. So while you're moving only slightly faster than you did in DaS1, the enemies are moving as though they're fighting a damned Hunter.

Dark souls 3 is such a mixed bag for me, they ran out of honest difficulty and were like "Alright, make everything attack nonstop and every hit staggers, its the only way"
Boss attacks got a lot faster and a bit bigger thanks to what can only be the influence of Bloodborne, while player's lost poise and take fucktonnes of damage now that armour is just there for decoration. So enjoy using hyperwarmour and dying before your swing finishes.

I reduced my count to 5 for my NG+2 run and it really let a lot of the bosses I 1 shot before shine, in particular the Twin Princes. I nearly I would have 1 shot them on my NG run if it wasn't for that WOTG but the most recent time it took an hour and a half and near perfect performance to down. The original game and 3 were always most tense and interesting when you couldn't chug at any moment and it's refreshing to get that feeling back. Hell, it's probably how I'm going to go through the DLC.

The thing that gets me is that the Age of Fire is allegedly so diminished that it's causing everything to fall apart, including time and space. Like they wasn't being flowery when they said "transient lands" in the intro, the lands are actually moving. You have bridges that lead to nowhere and geography that makes no sense. That being said, I think DS3 had some of the coolest ideas for bosses in the series. Abyss Walkers was great, Twin Princes too. Just unnecessarily easy. A 35% boost in boss hp would've made it better.

I found Gun and Sully way more difficult. They took me at least 4 tries on my first run as opposed to 2 or 3 for Nameless King. Nothing beats my 17 tries for the Bloody Crow of Cainhurst though.

Sully was a big roadblock for me too, but even then he's literally just Abyss Watchers with obviously infinite stamina. Eventually i got him down with help from a summon but i logged about 15 tries in total on him. Aldrich and Dragonslayer Armor were cakewalks compared to Sully though. Champ Gundyr and Nameless King took a lot of slowing down and turtling, but i got them both down relatively quickly with no help.
After playing das2 I found das3 a complete cake walk. My rolls feels better than max adp...

I never understood the problem people had with him. I guess something about the fight just clicked with me or something. It took maybe 2 tries, and then I sat there and got summoned over and over by hosts who made very stupid beginner mistakes, meanwhile I was hitting him constantly and taking little to no hits. The only boss I wasn't able to be were those beasts after that snowstorm in the DLC. It wasn't so much the fight itself, but getting to them in the first place.
