I remember playing it years ago the day it came out. Lasted for around five hours, and I remember spending a shitload of time backtracking to this one weird treehouse type place, and visiting some factory.
I was also a total retard and running Project Reality Mk. 1 which for some reason totally tanked my framerate (and still does) for reasons unknown.

Because I am generally not a fan of sneak outside of my first few games. After trying all the Lever Action weapons, the shotgun came out on top.
Revolvers always were hit or miss because.. a miss can fuck you up, slow fire rate, etc
Lever Action Rifles were poor outside of sneak attacks

FO4 is okay. Initial play through had some nice moments. The main quest sucked. I won't tell you why, but it was disappointing. Combat is pretty good and stomping around in power armor is satisfying for an afternoon. The player having voiced dialogue still annoys me; the actor's delivery doesn't always match the context.
I'm annoyed with it overall, honestly. There's been a couple of major DLCs: one of them is completely unrelated to and does not affect the Commonwealth, and the other is a rehash of a FO3 idea. The rest are shitty cosmetic settlement bs.

I remember when I was a 12-year-old kid playing Fallout 1 on our junker of a family computer; the first time I saw the Brotherhood, I loved those suits. The main questline endings are all different flavors of the same thing and pretty much all your dialogue choices end up being different ways of saying the same thing.
Settlement building is completely useless and not really worth the time unless you want to litter the Wasteland with Doomforts.
The DLC so far is kinda meh. Far Harbor being the only proper DLC in my mind.
It's worth playing if you care to invest the time into it.

If you like random killing in the wastes with no real direction or reason behind it, its alright. Jet is super fucking fun with a lot of builds because you get a slow-down type deal.
That also if you like to upgrade gear and base build for whatever reason. The robot DLC is kinda fun, having your own killbot on standby or having a city full of robots harvest everything

I always end up playing the same way, I start trying to use energy weapons and end up defaulting to guns and explosives because of the mod loadout I use making anything other than shooting non-feasible due to weight or survivability restrictions.
