Isn't Dark Souls the most critically acclaimed? I feel like the reception to that was a lot better than the reception to DaS2. There's the fact that SotFS was received better than the vanilla version, but I don't think it approached DaS1 levels

DaS2 only got shit because of the downgrade fiasco, soul memory and muh iron keep being in the sky, those were huge triggers for /v/ they went completely blind, hence unaware that the game in front of them was literally better than DaS1 in every other aspect
