Planet Robobot was much better than I was expecting. I was pretty put off by Return to Dreamland and Triple Deluxe because it felt like they were trying to play it too safe and just tried to make Kirby Superstar again (when Superstar is pretty much defined by its wildly varying gameplay elements, while those games were just DynaBlade stretched out to a full game). I'm really enjoying it.

Out of all the recent new powers, I think Leaf is the most reliable. Lots of damage, nice and fast. Hammer is still the best power though.

I went back to play to play Super Star Ultra recently and I noticed a glaring flaw that I'm surprised I never realized before. Kirby has a fixed jump height. It was especially noticeable when I kept killing myself by jumping into fucking Marx Soul when I was attempting to do a short hop. This is carried over from the original, but I'm surprised the remake doesn't let you have complete control over your jump height like literally every other Kirby game.

Mirror. It's my favorite ability and it finally came back so I had to do it. It's actually really good for True Arena, all the dash attacks give you i-frames and the shield/reflect force sends back homing shots now.

Star Dream was an infant, so yeah, it'd be weaker by default.
Star Dream Soul OS was near omnipotent though, which is enough to be the most powerful entity in Kirby so far, making italmost on par with Kirby himself.
I dunno if there's a need for a third one. Clockwork Stars are too big to fight on foot, and we've seen both ways of taking them down now. Small ship inside or big ship outside. That's kinda all there needs to be.
