Can't remember if it's anything like D2 but it's decent.
The skeletons are completely different though, you summon them in group of 3 and they only last for a few seconds. They're more fodder to soak up ranged attacks than anything. There is also a Vaal Summon Skeleton gem that summons a horde of skeletons including a general or giant skeleton, but that gem needs to charge up to be used.
II just looked it up for you and you can have 6 skellies by default, up to 12 with passives and 18 with gear and I don't think Vaal Summon Skeleton counts towards this cap and you can have 3 zombies out by default up to 10+ with passives and items. If you're planning on playing summoner you're not going to enjoy normal though, it takes a while for summoners to get going in PoE.

Oh and you can have a few revives up aswell. If you focus on the revives, which are called spectres in this game, they tend to get very powerful. What? Poison has the best time with immunities besides physical and magic. Around half of the immunes are shit like doors, catapults, the stationary water beasts, towers and other things that you never bother killing. The remaining immunes are the absolute most pathetic enemies like skeletons, crows and maggots, and even still most of these immunes can be broken with lower resist. And you also can't even get hero immune spawning, because no hero properties give poison resistance. Not to mention that you could just put a few points in corpse explosion to deal with immunes.

I've never gone full summoner, but I've partied with people who had a lot of summons.
Zombies+Spectres(I think that's what they were called, basically Reanimate).
Saw some people raise a fireball shooting monster, then adding Multiple projectiles to their Spectre spell so their Spectres fired multiple fireballs.

That's part of it but some of your equipment looks pretty bad too.
You seem to value str and dex very high, in truth they are quite useless except for reaching item requirements. You're a dual claw sin so your dex shouldn't be too high (I think the max req for claws is 117 or something, at lvl 99), str should be 150 at lvl 99 for Natalya. Your items don't look great but you're low level so just switch them when you find something nice.
At low level you'll want to level dragon claw and claw mastery rather than tiger strike. Don't put anymore points in weapon block, as they have diminishing returns. Cloak of shadows is an excellent defensive skill, again which should only have one point in it. Also get burst of speed and fade, pick the one you like the most. Later on you'll get the shadow warrior and shadow master, ignore warrior and get master.
Here's some other tips for when you progress:
You don't need to worry too much about it for now, but in Hell and Nightmare difficulties, monsters are gonna have immunities, including to physical damage. This means you're gonna want to take skills that allow you to deal other kinds of damage. Venom in Shadow Discipline is one way, but it's possible for a monster to have more than one immune, so make sure you pick at least one elemental skill as well.

It feels more like a dungeon crawler than an ARPG in the sense that D2 is. Movement is grid-based, characters (and enemies) move slower. There's an emphasis on atmosphere. The whole game scared me shitless as a kid between the ominous music and the ambient sound, to say nothing ofAHH FRESH MEATIt's an interesting game even with some of the clunky bits attached, and it holds up well enough to play. Diablo 2 has much more longevity though, obviously.

You know nothing bout d2 or d2:lod, dumbass. Barb and Pala are the toughest heroes. Defense in diablo 2 is the stat that decides how easy it is for a mob to hit you, that means that the higher def you have the higher the miss chances mobs have against you. Around 20k def, mobs have ~10-15% chance to hit you, easily reachable for a Pala who casts holy shield or Barb who shouts. The next in line is an Amazon, the Amazon, when played as a Javazon is the third thoughest hero, a lot tougher than the Druid who has millions of life. That bitch with her dodge, when coupled with 75% block, the natural high res from Stormshield, absorb from TG and the inability of enemies to touch her is a destruction machine. The Javazon maxed is the faster farmer of all heroes too.
There are a few multi-purpose farmers capable of farming everywhere in hell. I'll place them by speed.
