I'm not excited for it, but I'm not going to refuse a free upgrade. Couldn't care less about the graphics, I'm more interested in the 64 bit executable.
I cycle between excited and not caring.
It's like you remember the few good moments you had in with game, then automatically remembers the hours of grinding and walking and boring that were so bad you're actually in subconscious denial it ever existed.

I didn't get the Solsthiem/dragon flying DLC because I don't like fighting the dragons in the game and don't want more of them. I don't touch the dragonstone, so that the dragons don't show up.

Nah if I played a fantasy themed one I would just play skyrim since it's more modern and plays with more features, I don't care about elder scrolls lore - I don't like it at all - I had a class-mate in high school that was obsessed with the series and explained me the whole lore - I didn't like it at all.

Yea, I also love to play modding The Skyrim, i spent more than 1000 hours on mods, have around 80gb of mods, made it look photorealistic, made it ugridstoload=17(that actually didnt CTD every 5 seconds), revamped whole game to look like isometrical CRPG, changed every texture with 4K photography, used NVIDIA SDK and showed PhsyX,tesselation,HairFX, merged whole Oblivion,Morrowind and Vvarvenfell, used CUDA so it computes that every snow flake is different,

My last Skyrim play trough was about sad Carrot that run away from rabid rabbits , it was in 4K@144Hz, ugridstoload=17, when you press sneak, you make a little hole and dig yourself just like real carrot, rabbits cant see you, you have special power with wich you can summon flying foxes(just a reskin of a Dragon),when the game starts you can chose your race:green carrot,yellow carrot, red carrot, orange carrot,black carrot and for the faint of heart turnip.
Unfortunately, nexus banned that mod, they were sayan it was too explicit and grimdark, try at ModdB, maybe they still have an copy somewhere..

I'm just hopeful that the 64bit support will work better than the unofficial 64bit tweaks and make my modded experience a bit more stable, though I am expecting everything to crash and burn instead.

Not him, but I finally started playing Morrowind seriously for the first time recently. Just put MGE for distant viewing on there and the game shines above Oblivion setting and roleplaying wise.
Sure the combat system is a bit clunky, but lots of people try to fight without putting their preferred weapon as a major skill or select a class that doesn't have a bonus to said weapon.
Plus spears and throwing stars and a more free enchanting system. Helps that magic items recharge over time instead of you being forced to chug soul gems (you still can for a quick boost though).
