In the comics, you can see how Judges often get cybernetic/bionic augmentations due to all the injuries they sustain in the line of work.

Dredd himself has a shitload of cybernetics in him.

Pretty sure one of the classes in 2077 was said to be a Dredd-esque class. Inb4 vaporware that trailer was an advertisement to hire talent for the game. Theyre literally working on the RedKit for the game as we speak.
