This show is CURSED! Again and again I hit the delete button and it never dies. Every now and then the forbidden folder will open itself on one of my alt monitors as if to mockingly remind me it's still there with its horrible writing, shot composition, production values, music, and acting.Send help. Read The Last Wish
It's the best witcher book, full of short stories that set the mood for what the games try to emulate. It's also the first and best book before it got too pretentious trying to tell it's story.

Feel this really strange sadness now. Something about looking at all my armor sets, all my swords and knowing this is the end, its finally over. From fighting crones in a bog to ice giants on mountains, its finally finished and the story is done.

Both of those are really great books and tower of swallows kind of gets back to that feel of more fragmented short stories, but of multiple characters in a short time span, instead of just Geralt across a large timeline.
Usually I hate reading sections of the books that aren't about Yen, Geralt or Ciri but tower of swallows the stories about Dijkstra, Vattier, and Phillipa are interesting too.
