I listen to foreign music in its native language usually, however there are exceptions like stuff by Utada where, if available, I'll listen to her music in English.
I watch foreign anime films dubbed when available and in Japanese with English subtitles otherwise. I don't watch anything live action, so if you're referring to foreign movies in that sense I can't say.
I enjoy hearing things in my native language and figuring out which actors I like and which ones I don't. I like following the voice acting industry much in the same way some people follow seiyuu.

Most games with anime artstyles are also set in Japan, so having the characters speak Japanese makes more sense. Resident Evil and Metal Gear are set in the US, or when not set in the US, still star american characters. Dark Souls is a european-style fantastic, Nintendo games are usually pure fantasy, and Sonic is pure fantasy that was designed to sell in America and when it incorporates real world elements, they're american. Bayonetta takes place in fantasy europe.
Dark Souls has no Japanese track. Bayonetta didn't have any japanese voice talent associated with it until the movie, the original game was english with japanese subtitles in Japan. Nintendo games usually don't have voice acting, the grunts and short phrases that come out of Mario and Link are the same worldwide. Some Sonic games have dual audio.

Aside from that, Director also has a lot to do with voice direction. Cheap anime games, have shit directors, that don't tell the actors how to properly do a scene. Most of the time they are also in a booth by themselves, just churining out their lines. There is almost no one that will have all the actors get together to do a scene. This is why you have so many shit dubs for games and anime, but then you can get those same voice actors to voice a cartoon and suddenly their inflection is ten times better.

You could say the same about a lot of Japanese VAs as well. Sugita can only do his one voice and he's vary apparent. Wakamoto as well, but no one is going to call them bad VAs.
Though it's hard to tell if it's because of being type cast or not. Sugita's Bullet and Joseph have a distinct feel, even if you can't say they have a different voice.

There are further smaller reasons as well. One key one is that animated characters are not live actors whose mouth movements are 1:1 with what they're saying like in a live action movie. There are also smaller things like the ability to continue to understand the game even if your visual focus is temporarily directed elsewhere

Dub is literally always a better option. Subs exist because there is no dub at the moment but once a dub is released it immediately outclasses the subs.
Yes it is physically impossible to read subs and watch the screen. You'll never 100% experience a subbed show the way you would a dubbed show.
