Been using spears and snipers. dabbled in shotguns and buster swords because Chi Yous were basically immune to pierce till I started getting stronger weapons.

I used shotguns a lot too, but assault rifles do so much more damage. I might just stick to those two guns, spears, and scythes.

Just starting D5, the hammer is really baller. I used spears before, but I really enjoy doing fuckhuge amounts of damage with the hammer, even if my mobility is somewhat hampered. Not to mention at Burst lv 3 the weapon really doesn't fuck around.

You can fuse smaller parts into the higher grade parts (20 wings to make 1 Heavy wing) and fuse down to make smaller stuff. You can also use tickets you get from missions to purchase parts. Also if you're using A.I missions shouldn't last that long until you start hitting the higher ranked missions.

Cornix with Oracle devour up is pretty much an upgrade to me. Also divine relish which is a charge devour that rockets you to burst lv 3, but it takes a long ass time, its worth it though if you slap on burst saver and have any other burst enhancing abilities.

Pick 3 weapons you really like, then out of those 3 pick 1 you love and build the most stuff for it. Out of guns pick 2 and then 1 you really like. At least that way I don't have to go broke trying to keep up to date with everything. You could also have element-less weapons of each that you can upgrade and go to when you need its crushing, or slashing ability for a specific enemy.

I think that mission is easily set up so you can kill one Aragami fast and then the other two appear, but if that's not the case like with the later one split tactics work well, too. Other than that, two Aragami at the same time are easily manageable, it's only 3 or more when the entire thing becomes a clusterfuck.

You need multiple weapons with multiple elemental attributes. Weaknesses are very important and can shorten lengths of a hunt by a large amount. Save arc parts until you know what you're doing.

Learn bullet jutsu. I have a recipe that bombs the enemy with 1800 damage a shot. Costs base 149 OP, but if you have the skill that reduces op cost, you can two shots off before recharging, which if you play right, you can do every 45sec to a minute
