Questions about Akane's motives and personality: minor spoilers -
[spoilers]I think the VLR Akane spoiled me. Going into this game I expected Akane to be a cold and calculating person who uses the persona outside of her as a facade to get things done. I always thought she was a good person at heart so I never really blamed her for the way she thought. She came across as way to bubbly here though. Was I the only one who felt off by this? This was even more solidified in the ending where she is shown to marry Junpei. It just feels off.

Soooo disappoint with how ZTD turned out. The switch from VN-esque dialogue to cutscenes did a fourth of the damage, removing huge swaths of exposition, character interactions, and detail by necessity compared to VLR/999 while making the action even dorkier; also, by attempting to acquire a larger audience and ruining the plot by removing basically any continuity from VLR, barring the beginning (Kyle, ?, Clover, Alice, Snake, etc.); the characters didn't even act like themselves. Fuck, you don't even need to have played VLR/999 for ZTD to make sense, and VLR/999 both aren't spoiled despite it being a finale. Lastly, the writing was dogshit, with certain twists (Q) being ridiculously contrived, and his COMPLEX MOTIVES made zero sense. Hamfisted writing everywhere.

Phi is the reason Radical-6 spread in the first place. Which means at the beginning of VLR, when everybody is injected with R-6, she already has it. That's great and all, but isn't she developing suicidal tendencies in one of the endingsw where everbody kills themselves? (It's a bit blurry in my head...) Why didn't the Radical-6 effect trigger way sooner? Am I missing something?
