The game is extremely repetitive and could've ended 3 hours sooner, but it's still one of the best movie related video games ever released.
They perfectly captured the feel of the original movie. Amazing atmosphere and great visuals.
If you're a fan, I'd say keep playing. If not, no don't expect anything greater.

That was my big issue with the game. It felt like they kept leading you towards false endings. Like the end of LOTR, except worse, because everytime you thought it was over they sent you on another huge journey through Sevastopol. Still a great game though, and I'm not a huge fan of the Alien franchise anyway, just frustrating to finish.

Quick tip to beat this easy, if you jave any trouble
>When you first encounter the alien run to the door you need to unlock since the Ayyyy is stuck in animation
>Don't bother to go to the employee room it isn't nessacry to find the doctor and it's a detour that can screw you over

It gets better, the alien encounters themselves are nothing special and just slow the game down, later you'll encounter a lot of androids and other people, those are the best parts of the game also when you get the flamethrower the aliens become pussies.

how do I get out without the alien being attracted to the opening of the door? do I just throw a noisemaker?
I've taken a long break after finishing Med Labs because, as someone who's bad at stealth games, that level was very stressful and exhausting for me.
Now that it's been a few months, I want to play it again but I'm afraid that I've forgotten how to do the door opening minigames and will get stuck on them while being chased by the alien.
Are there parts where you have to win minigames while you're being hunted by the alien or other baddies? 'Cuz I might have to restart the game and relearn the minigames if so.

I've never gotten killed doing minigames besides they are piss easy, most of them are just well done QTE's and the hacking ones are just - find the correct spot on the circle and enter the right shapes you see on screen.

I think they were scarier than the Alien. When the Alien sees you the tension is usually removed because it either immediately kills you or damages you and runs away. When an Android spots you the tension only ramps up as it follows you.

The door opening doesn't make enough noise to attract it. But it can sniff you out if it's on patrol mode.
Still, the alien AI is a fresh baby, so throw a flare down a corridor, drop a flashbang as a trap at the door to know when it comes through, and run (crouch-walk) to your destination.
