I'm using a steelseries from 8 years ago before the price of mechanical keyboards shot up. It's a damn fucking shame. This $75 keyboard would probably cost $200 now.
Fucking esports nerds making mechanical keyboards "trendy" and allowing manufacturers to jack up the price and profit threefold. I can type on a mechanical keyboard all day without getting hand cramps. I'll get sick from sitting down all day before my fingers hurt. But a membrane, after a few hours I start to get pains.
Now I'm fucked. This keyboards on its last legs and already has two bad switches (an o that likes to fire at random for some reason, and the 6 key on my numpad no longer works). But I can't get a new mechanical keyboard because the price is ridiculous if I want to get a mute sound key and preferrably USB ports on the keyboard itself.
Fuck.
