Paradox is known for being absolute scum with DLC. They release blatantly unfinished games and immediately start releasing DLC after DLC that makes the game actually good but also bumps the total price to 80$+. AFAIK it should still be possible to buy base game and pirate DLC and it will work. Or pirate it all if you don't want to play online

For suggestions, NIght of the rabbit is one of the best old-school point'n'clicks released in recent years so go with that if you're into adventures. Deponia is also good. Machinarium is awesome but short (the soundtrack is a fucking gift from god tho). Or go with the classics like Longest Journey, Syberia, Broken Sword etc. if you haven't played those.

I've got $17.28 left on my Steam wallet, but honestly I own or have played mostly everything on Steam that seems interesting. I enjoy the Nep games enough to get the third, and I know Risen 3 isn't that great but I enjoyed Gothic 1-3 and the first Risen enough to give it a try.
Styx I'm on the fence about, especially since it puts me over $17.28, but it might be worth it. Sounds pretty good anyway.

I bought RE HD Remaster, Pathologic Classic HD, Hero Siege, Pony Island, Our Darker Purpose and E.Y.E Divine Cybermancy till now.

It's easily got the best survival mechanics I've seen in a game besides maybe UnReal World, and there's plenty of content to explore. Only downside is that it's a pixelart game, but who cares about graphics when the gameplay is solid?

Oh boy how they aren't, but with a little work you can get "passable controls". But you can't bind the camera to your right stick as they are locked to the back shoulder buttons.
The esthetic of a lot of characters have changed as well as there is a lot less story missions.
It's worth it, but only while its seeing the rare sale.
Stardew is far more likely to go on sale in the future as well.

If you enjoy that sort of "grand strategy" you'll have some fun with the base game, and it will definitely be greatly improved by playing with your friends. However, once you have played it with the DLCs you will look back and think, "how did I ever play this before?"

Unfortunately out of all the ones I've played, that's the only one I would recommend.
Most of them are pretty shit. The biggest and most common flaws are A: Gay as the dickens. I'm aliberalbut holy hell a lot of these bludgeon you about the head with diversity and acceptance. B: Don't really leverage the stat/relationship/whatever tracking. It's best if you can fail at actions in these since they're a fucking text based story game. The very light layer of gameplay is attached to whatever numbers/bars the game wants to track. Robots does a pretty good job of it, a lot of them don't. C: Not much branching. If you play through Robots a few times you probably saw that it tends to hit a lot of the same major beats, but there are opportunities for some major branches, like preventing US/China conflict and shit. It's another thing that SHOULD be standard in those games but most often isn't, and yet again Robots is better than the rest.
They're kind of just a guilty pleasure of mine and Robots is the only one I felt was actually worth playing a few times. Haven't gone through everything yet so hopefully there are more good ones, but that's the score currently.

The game look good on paper, but it sucks really hard. The story is predictable and forced stealth sections are horribly designed. The clue sections will have you tear apart a room looking for small objects. I can't recommend this. A sort of good replacement is Ethan Carter, which is pretty good, but comes with its own set of problem.

Oh, hot damn. And thank you for bringing that up. It got scooped up when I bought the bundles to finish off my collection and I had no idea they had another game by the same author on Steam. I'll have to move that to the top of the backlog, hopefully it's as good.
90,000 word so it's fairly sparse, but what the hell. If it's done well I'll be glad. And Tin Star is pushing 1,400,000 words and still managed to shit the bed by having a fair number of stats tracked which I never once managed to fail anything, even shit I wasn't super specialized in.

Also just struck me, apart from Xcom 2 you should check out Battle Brothers since you appear to enjoy some good open world fuck around strategy gaming. The discount isn't amazing and it's still early access, but it's very playable and enjoyable early access. Think of it very much like Mount and Blade at the moment. Basically fuck-all reason to romp around the map murdering shit other than to improve your group and get better gear and money.
You also might like Invisible Inc. Rock solid gameplay, mostly depends on if turn based squad stealth floats your boat or not.

I would simply because it's currently on sale, but it's not necessary. It's an "Add more shit" expansion so you can have a perfectly great time playing the vanilla game, and it may even be in your interests to play your first campaign or two with the DLC disabled (Since it lengthens the campaign and adds more toys for you and your enemies), but if you get in to it it's something you'd want.

An Invisible Inc campaign is shorter than Hong Kong, but it's also HIGHLY replayable. There's 0 chance you'll get all the agents and hacking programs and gadgets and shit in a single campaign, you'll basically always be tight on resources. Every mission (And what missions are available) is also procedurally generated. You'll probably stomp through and see the "Story" (Which is pretty light) fairly easily. After that you can tweak the difficulty and replay until satisfied.

Age of Wonders 3. Ideally with both expansions since they add quite a bit to it. Really solid combat-focused fantasy 4X. It's not as Master of Magic-like as Age of Wonders Shadow Magic (If you played that) but after patching and expansions it became my favorite in the series. It also has some of the best strategy game AI out there. It can play the game pretty well at the "Not massively cheating resources" level, both in the tactical and strategic layers.
And on the RPG side, Age of Decadence. Since you play a lot of strategy games you probably are more in to crunchy gameplay mechanics rather than story, but I'm gonna recommend it anyway. A+ branching story that you actually have to replay from different factions to see a complete picture, tolerable (Once you get used to it) combat, fairly ugly graphics, unique setting. Might not be to your tastes since it's a single-character RPG and though the combat has some relatively decent crunch to it, it's primarily the story and fluff to keep you interested. Feel compelled to recommend it anyway because it became my favorite RPG of all time, to the point I actually shat out the beginner guide on Steam.

Did you like the Batman games and 100% them, or 100% Saints Row? Shadows of Mordor is fun for the first few hours, but you'll quickly see everything the game has to offer. After that it just depends on how much you like approaching situations the same over and over and how much you can tolerate the same handful of side missions just with different layouts/areas. The story is not as compelling, like in the Arkham Asylum or City, so the gameplay is the only thing that can carry you through it.
If you want to take the risk play it for two hours and if you can't see yourself repeating that 2 hours a dozen times then refund it.

For Gabriel Knight, I suggest you watch some Let's Plays from the middle or so of the game.
The remastered version is still very ugly at parts and looks really rough around the edges. The screenshots and trailers do a good job of omitting this fact. If that's not something you care about, then by all means get it.
I was tempted to get Age of Decadence but the more I looked into the more hesitant I became. I like the idea that the game is more about creative ways of avoiding combat, but sometimes in RPGs I like to just make combat heavy characters so the idea of being punished for being combat heavy is a bit eh. If an RPG advertises creative solutions to situations, I don't want to hear that pure talkers are the best solution to all problems.
That and some of the stories about people joining a faction and doing quests for them and suddenly discovering they need really good stats in two skills they don't have and hitting a dead end. Apparently the guilds will accept you regardless of your skills, and you aren't really informed of what kind of skills might be needed for certain guilds, so you can really work yourself into a corner it sounds like.
Any opinions from people who've actually played it?

In regard to your first part, there are fairly often non-combat solutions to things, but not to EVERYTHING and not every solution in every situation. Even if you have a great disguise skill you can't always disguise yourself at someone who belongs somewhere, for example. So it's possible that there's a non-combat solution to a quest but you don't have the necessary skill/knowledge for it. Also worth noting, the legion and the assassins are both impossible to get through with 0 combat. The other major factions/guilds you can.
Second part is partially true, especially with the assassins. The assassins are the hardest faction to play through (They have a lot of non-combat skill checks AND end up in a lot of mandatory combat) because they sort of want you to spread your skills the most. Generally speaking you want to learn what skills you use for your faction in Teron (The first town/act of the game) and then focus on those for the rest of the game. It's not always completely clear, so you just take your best stab at it.
The TLDR summary though is legion and assassins have mandatory combat even though they have some non-combat solutions as well (A talkfighter can pull off some neat story-stuff). Thieves CAN get through the game without super metagame knowledge without combat (One combat encounter where you have a pal and he can mostly do it for you) but are still relatively prone to entering combat if you fuck up. You can also play a musclethief/thug. And merchants are the least combat focused but can still end up in combat. A lot of people bitch about being attacked by bandits when leaving Teron as a merchant, but you can talk your way through them, sneak around them, or never even encounter them at all since they only show up if you piss a certain person off while you're in town.
It's an easy game to get angry at but it is mighty cool.

Hmm, well there are sometimes you do just realize you fucked up building your character and have to restart but you usually realize by halfway through chapter 1. There are plenty of paths where you can fight your way out of any situation, its kind of neat to take the paths that are clearly diplomatic focused and hack your way through anyways. EYE is a confusing game but if you give it some time, it might grow on you.
New Vegas is good if you want to sen lots of tie ruing about exploring,, solving quests, and listening to the same songs over and over. The DLC campaigns are great.
Shovel Knight is a send up the Megaman and Ducktales NES games.
Psychonauts has it's charm, and it's in line with the older 3D platformers.
The YS games are tough action RPG's with only some grinding and some really hard bosses.

Crysis is only 3.99 right now and I cannot recommend it enough. I've been playing it on and off for months now and regardless of what weeb shit I get hooked on this game always pulls me out. Do yourselves a favor and buy it, don't forget to use the Quality Mod and HD Textures.
