Yeah, it has a big focus on speedrunning, and has a decent level of sequence breaking (at least at launch). Plus all the actually good weapons are very well hidden in the world. By the end of the game you have so much mobility and shortcuts that traversing the world becomes no big deal.

I personally found AV to be kind of uninspired and boring. I liked the idea of using "glitches" to your advantage in the game, but the main character is boring, level design isn't anything interesting, the music wasn't as great as people seem to say, and enemies were just massive bullet sponges. Grim Dawn is great if you got any enjoyment out of TQ. It uses the same engine. It may as well be TQ2 in a different setting. This is coming from someone who had 300+ hours in TQ and 750+ in Grim Dawn.

Hong Kong is great. Feels like an improvement on Dragonfall in all the best ways - more quests and very good writing. Your character is pretty much predetermined to be kind of cocky so look out for that.
TL2 is not as good as the original in my opinion, the classes all suck or require too much weapon specialization considering how random loot is in the game.

Only games I've played in that list are Darksiders 1 and 2.
This may not be much help since I can't compare them to the others but I can tell you they are pretty alright.
They take gameplay elements from other series almost to the point where it feels like a copy, but it's a well done copy in any case.
Art direction may or may not be a plus, personally I kinda like it.

if you like crpgs, then go for pillars of eternity, divine divinity, and divinity original sin. for regular rpgs kotor 1 & 2 are both good and heavily moddable, last remnant is okay, vampire the masquerade is goat tier.
