Delay this by eating a lot of fatty fish, ideally salmon, which contains the correct fats to feed your decaying nerves.
Avoid tuna though, way too much mercury. Did you know pregnant women aren't supposed to eat tuna at all because of the high ethyl mercury they get from eating smaller mercury-collectant fishes?
>>343563731
>jet fighter tier
Jet fighter for what? This kind of reaction is useless everywhere except for maybe PRESS X WHEN GREEN game moments
>>343564229
>This kind of reaction is useless everywhere
1/10, made me reply
>>343564229
anon, having a good 'press x when green' reaction means your nerves are effectively wired. you don't have different types of reaction times to different things.
your auditory reaction time is about 30ms lower than your visual reaction time, for instance, but 'press x when green' will accurately tell you how fast your reactions are. the air force test for USA and Germany pilots is essentially a 'press x when green' test too, except not green.
I got 262 but I smoked a lot of weed today so it could be that.

the joystick at the appearance of a supra-threshold spot stimulus.
>Simple reaction times ranged from 143 to 461 msec, with a mean of 223 msec (SD = 0.055).
kinda funny that some of the people in this thread react faster than jet pilots. i guess vidya really is good training
although jet pilots probably are selected more on their discipline level, these days, since dogfighting is now more about loosing missiles at the correct time, when the enemy is so far away they can't even be seen outside of radar
>>343564169
>Tfw I love tuna and eat it once a week with crackers.
It's so scrumptious! I don't wanna die
>>343564904
As long as you're a large person eating one tin of tuna per day, and it's light tuna instead of albacore (important - albacore has 7x the ethyl mercury level) you should be okay.
Some people think mercury poisoning in non-immediately-lethal amounts isn't a huge deal, because current testing indicates that trace mercury biocollects in your bones and becomes neutralized ie. not capable of interacting with tissues.

Went from average 270 reaction time on this site to this. Feels good man. g402/benq 2720z
Playing FPS with stable 200+fps at 144hz is fucking incredible, I feel like a hacker
>>343568897
Yes, but reaction times don't directly relate to performance, it's definitely a edge over the competition, but hand-eye coordination is the main factor.
You could have a fantastic 100ms response time, but if you cannot get that crosshair to the opponent's head, you're screwed.
I don't think RTSs are very affected by this.
As a fightan player, having average to low reaction times has hurt me plenty, but my hand-eye coordination and muscle memory has got me into the upper 60/70% win rates in most games I played.

Depends on the person and it's more important what calories you're taking in when you're just looking at weight. What you actually eat to meet that calorie count will have less of an effect on weight and significantly more on overall health.
That said, having a crap diet in general will make you feel like garbage and not perform as well during exercise. Diet will also affect how quickly you recover and development of muscle.

Deathadders have, or at least had, the best sensors.
>>343579540
They're 'counter-culture' idiots

>Some modern TVs add as much as 150ms!
I'll assume that's playing a role. Let the placebo begin
>>343579849
/g/ shits all over Razer every chance they get. They would never recommend a Razer product unless there was a good reason for it.
>>343579836
g502 has the pixart 3366, a sensor logitech engineers moved to pixart to help develop
it has DPI nativity at all DPI (aka you can turn the DPI as high or low as you want and tracking granularity isn't affected, there is no interpolation regardless of DPI) something no other sensor has

Your average is way more telling than your guess.

From your link: "Most importantly, the correlation is moderate, and not total. Plenty of intelligent people may have slower than normal reaction times. Plenty of unintelligent people may have faster than normal reaction times."
Which is the scientific equivalent of "one rabbi says X, the other rabbi says Y".
i'm pretty drunk right now but heres mine
234 at 30 years old isn't too shit, right?

You know what, my eyes are shit. I'm okay with having above average knowing that.
Logitech G900
BenQ XL2420G
>>343580031
G900 uses the same exact sensor. It's good to see Logitech using their best sensor in more mice. I'd like comparable sensors to start popping up for all brands.
>>343583278
Being drunk improves reaction speed
>>343584018
>g900
didn't even know this exists, $150 for a g502 with different body seems silly. get 2 g502s for $60 each and they'll last a decade
258 ms
>>343584203
I actually have the 502 and 900. I prefer the 900 overall. It's super light and wireless without sacrificing responsiveness. It's also got the best wireless connection of all mice, nothing and I mean nothing can interrupt or interfere with the connection. It's basically the worlds first wireless gaming mouse with the best sensor on the market. I also got it for 41 dollars off with employee discount where I work or else I may not have picked one up.
>>343584496
Also forgot to mention it has faster clicks than the 502 and it's pretty noticeable. It feels like half the distance of the click on the 502. It may not sound like much but you gotta feel it to really appreciate it.
why bother trying 5 or more times for an average when it takes only one to gauge your reaction time
when all they will do it change the time limit on when it will turn green, not a very good test

>tfw float around 250-350

Don't worry guys, most mice have button delay
