I have never played any Half-Life games before.
I just wanted to get Half-Life 1 to start off, but then I saw how good these deals were.
Should I get the Anthology pack or the Complete pack? Or should I just get HL1?Is Day of Defeat any good?
Get Complete for HL2 and Eps. DoD was good, but AFAIK it's dead along with TF and whichever other MP game might be included in those packs.
You may as well pick up the complete pack, everything but Team Fortress Classic and Blue-Shift are pretty good.
If you plan on playing HL2 at some point anyway, you might as well get all of them.

Grab the complete pack. That price is crazy low!
And remember to play the ORIGINAL HL1, not the shitty, buggy and fugly Source -port.
If you don't own any of them then you might as well grab the complete Half-Life bundle, yeah
Some portions of it are a waste, but it's discounted enough to not really matter.Like, Half-Life 1's Source port was buggy and I don't think Valve ever fixed it

I'd say it'd be pretty silly to not grab the Complete bundle. You're going to pay a lot more than that if you plan to buy the HL2 games + official mods later on.
