Actually, MGS 4 is easily the worst Metal Gear story-wise. And one of the worst overall.
Recently played witcher 3 , since i was waiting until all dlc was out.
And i dont know if it was the best story in a game but the first DLC "hearts of stone" story was one of the best ones i have experienced in a game.
Probably Bioshock 1. I'm yet to play Minerva's Den but a lot of people seem to like that one as well.
