I'm going to discuss the ending of Legends of Cold Steel Part 1 now.
Please don't look at this actual spoiler if you don't want to be spoiled.About half way through the game I figured I was heading towards an almost exact recreation of Sky 1's ending where a large political event would take place and the story would take a severe turn, moments before ending the game.
I was right, but what I wasn't expecting was for the game to continue after the assassination of Old Man and the appearance of the radio Witch.
The entire final sequence caught me off guard and I did not expect mechs to actually be playable. I couldn't help laugh at the absurdity of what was happening and the bullshit between Rean Coldsteel and Crow's superfriend loan of friendship and the talking cat jumping into the mech too for no discernible reason. I loved every second of it.
