There is too much disconnection between everyone in the Mojave. It almost feels forced when i see dialog choices that include "What do you think about the Legion/NCR?
And the second one is too much walking, i know it's supposed to be inmersive, but when i walk from dialog to dialog for too long i just completely lose any interest i have in helping these people. The auto-walk button makes me feel like it underlines the problem i just pointed out

The mystery of it all was pretty intruiging and the characters were bretty good.

The hyped treasure was a dissapointment, just some fucking god bars in a table. Whoop-de-fucking-do. And you could carry like max four of them and still get fucktons of caps. It's like everyone lives in their own little bubble that you have to interact with, they include those "What do you think about NCR/Legion?" because they have the need to remind you that there is going to be a battle in Hoover Dam someday
I think the low-point of the story is that moment after you deal with Benny because my interest completely dissapears and the game shifts from one plot to a another one

This is what I do normally. You can get a stealth boy right from the start with 25 lockpick as well.
I never played OWB or LR. Annoyingly I started a new save to play them about 6 months ago, got halfway through the ghoul/nightkin quest, got bored then dropped the save. I might give it another go but what level should I approach the two DLCs? I think I'm only 13 atm which is why I went to do this quest.

Its an FPS. If you like FPS campaigns then go for it.
You can't build characters, you just get progressively stronger and you're good at everything. There are no interesting locations, the only settlements are just built for the main campaign. Every settlement is lifeless and you have to build most of them yourself. Role playing is impossible because the main character's life is already fleshed out and you have no choice in how he acts or talks.
I'm guessing you already know all of this because of the specific things you pointed out and you're just baiting, but let this be a warning to any other retards that want to play Call of Duty 4: "Fallout skin version"

A loss at Hoover Dam would spell the end for the Legion, so idk if Obsidian would want to throw away one of their most interesting factions like that (assuming there is a sequel). They're not brought up at all, probably because they were also on the brink of building their own nuclear power plant and that would sort of undermine why the NCR is desperate for the Dam

I don't think people are appreciating that the Fallout universe branched out from us but did not just keep the 1950s aesthetic for those next few decades. They would progress as much culturally and everything as we did. It's inconceivable that in F3/FNV that the only songs are from the 50s where we branched off and they exist in our universe.

Well, i'm gonna have to run, so I'm im just going to post how to get them all working together whether youre here or not
1) Download and install NVSE, I always do it manually and never had a problem with it, Just place all the nvse stuff in the same folder as the fallout launcher and such.
2) download the 4gb patch and put the 4gb new vegas application and the 4gbhelper.dll in the same folder as where you put NVSE.
3) open up MO and open up the drop down menu where you select which application to run. go to "edit" then click the button next to binary (the one with the 3 dots) and browse around until you find the fnv4gb.exe (not the dll) and select that. next, title it whatever you want, and click "ADD" at the lower left corner of that box.
4) once that is all done, open that drop down menu once again and select whatever you named the 4gb new vegas option, and run the game through that (it will automatically run NVSE as well if you run 4gb new vegas, but if you need proof its working, open the console and type "getnvseversion" if it gives you an nvse version number, its working

Fun fact, the whole "You can't ____ with enemies nearby" is based on perception. I had 1 Perception, saw some cazadors coming and teleported out. In that sense, high perception is actually just bothersome.

Outdoors, you can probably hide behind a mountain and wait for the enemies to come within range. It's only dangerous if they use explosives or grenade launchers.
Indoors, you just gotta get inside a room and wait until they come towards you.
Running towards enemies while they're shooting at you isn't really smart. And if waiting for maybe 10 seconds behind cover is too much for you, you could invest in explosives to attack them from afar.
Or just use guns.

It's not as bad as everyone makes out but it is rather boring and the radio shit just boils down to a trial and error guessing game that encourages save scumming.

Because gunplay in FNV isn't great, and making people rupture like overripe pumpkins from great distance with your .50 cal anti-materiel rifle is one of the view gunplay-related joys of the game.
Miniguns are actually pretty enjoyable too, but only if you get enough enemies, and the engine doesn't handle that well. So it occurs rarely. The CZ57 Avenger is fun as fuck during Hoover Dam, though.

Why didn't Mr. House just convince the NCR President to let the Vegas Strip area become like a state in the Republic, instead of choosing between war and assimilation?
Statehood would've worked great for both parties. A good amount of independence for House, plus resources from the West, while the NCR gets some of that sweet tax money and can advertise that their nation has something to do that doesn't consist of work and depression like the rest of the Wasteland.
