Did anyone on /v/ get the chance to try the PS4VR yet and can compare it to the Rift or Vive?
I personally tried the Rift yesterday and I liked it, I didn't expect it to be that good to be honest but I'm not sure whether it gets old fast or not.
I would like to know how good the PS4VR is, cause I'm more likely to buy that than the Vive or Rift.
I mean it's cool, but not worth that much money imo.
It'll probably be worse, I'm aware of that but I would like to know how much worse it is or if there is something it does better.
I know the Rift and Vive both have a resolution of 2160 x 1200, 1080 x 1200 for each eye and 90Hz refresh rates, also the games are rendered separately for each eye.
The PS4VR has a resolution of 1920 × 1080, 960×1080 per eye and has a 120Hz refresh rate, however from what I've seen it doesn't actually render in 120fps, it's rendering 60fps and the software adds frames to reach 120fps or something, don't know how that is supposed to work.
Unlike the Rift and Vive, the PS4K is only rendering the game once for both eyes, I understand that they are saving resources this way but isn't this needed for VR?
How will it differ when only rendering it once?
