The battle system is basically Persona for the most part. The addition is that you learn team base attack. So if you hit someone that is weak to fire with a fire spell and your next team member can do a bonus attack if he has a skill that allows it.

Everytime the word gravure or gradol was said they replaced it with modelling or idol.
They also had a lot of lines changed whenever they felt like it and had a lot of lines cut out entirely. Most of it is in chapter 2.

Producing Perfection is a fairly good idol management sim, honestly. I'd say it's main failings are running out of story events after 61 days (you have 180 days to finish) and the fact that there's only 5 songs. That being said, unless it's your first time you shouldn't need much longer than 60 days anyway and you don't even need to hold concerts to the repetitive songs aren't too much of an issue.
It's clearly a budget game, but it's still pretty decent. I hope they do a sequel some day.
