They are more fun and have time to develop bonds like Sakura and the swimming girl or the moral compass and the bike-gang leader. On the other hand, you have Clover and the exotic brown lady two times in a row, Q', Dio and people constantly talking about scientific or supernatural shit that doesnt sometimes suits their character.I also prefer DR story.

There's a fucking tons of other studios that do VNs with great stories though, but being PC exclusives without gameplay they rarely get translated.

Read the desc. of this game real quick on the steam frontpage and it seemed like a some kind of detective game meets Ace Attorney, am I wrong? I am interested in playing it if yes, but the anime style and shit kinda puts me off too because I've never been interested in weeaboo shit.

Case 2-4 is a masterpiece and case 2-5 is the magnum opus of the series
Case 6 in both games aren't actually a mystery but more of a climactic showdown with the villain
The rest are all generally pretty good, the only ones I would consider only ok/decent are 1-2, 1-1

In my opinion, Anime characters does not equal "personality", good writing and voice acting does, however, which is independant of the artstyle (hopefully).
But believe me when I tell you that when a game goes for the anime artstyle there is a 90% chance they will have your classic stereotypical "Big anime tiddies and wacky antics lol" anime crap, which I am in no way interested in at all.
Also, not having an anime artstyle doesn't mean they have no artstyle at all, take a look at any non-anime character ever drawn and that is their artstyle.
I have no intentions of paying for a game if more than 50% of the playerbase is only there because of their animu waifu and/or typical weeaboo stuff.
You are entitle to your opinion and you should not feel attacked just because I dislike anime.
Now, please leave me alone if you do not wish to tell me in-depth about what makes the game good except the artstyle.
