I am completely fine with how he came into existence and part of his motivation for wanting to make the Decision Game, but everything else fell short. Free the Soul just feels meaningless to me now and there was no call back to Santa or Snake at all. I had to look this up, there's a poster elsewhere in the room where the numbers are in different places. You're supposed to match the glasses image with that and then recreate the numbered connections on the actual puzzle.
It was pretty poorly done; a much more elegant way would've been to have the puzzle itself be blank and the glasses show you straight lines of the left number and roman number, which you then referenced with the poster for the visible connections instead.

What did you assume the moon was? The fact that it's multiplied by itself twice without exceeding twelve means it has to be 1 or 2, and if it's 1, then other cards are rendered equal to each other.
The man is what's multiplied by the two moons, so it can either be 1 (1*2*2 = 4) or 3 (3*2*2=12). The two moons by themselves are 4, so the man has to be 3.
The three moons are 8, so the flower has to be five, as flower+moon makes 10, the only even number left unaccounted for.
I think that's the way I did it, but I don't remember exactly.
