He was only really tough if you didn't face the dark lurker in ds2, other then that and people not letting his phantom live is why they got rekt by based Suly

Maybe because I just finished a playthrough of Scholar through ng++? Sinner is fairly easy and he gave me more trouble than all 3 even in just ng.

I think people have such different experiences because the bosses really act pretty differently based on what kind of distance you typically keep.
Watching my girlfriend play the bosses don't act the same at all as when I play.

I think your build and weapon make a pretty big impact on how certain bosses are. Some bosses need to killed pretty quick and are best beaten with high dps characters. Others can just one-shot low-vigor characters easily. Attack range and speed matter too.

I don't remember hearing anyone saying he was all that difficult. I was pretty sad that Aldritch was such a fucking wimp, though. Yohrm may have been tricky, but Onion Bro and I kept spit-roasting him, just like we did to his mother.
