i made a MGSV music video which got 400 views.
i want to make more but i'm having trouble finding games with decent, cinematic cutscenes to do so with. i used all the scenes from MGSV i liked, any more using that would just be more of the same and no one really cares about Metal Gear anymore.
it's pretty alright, got some decent views on some vids, but usually i average about 40.
Shit is fun as hell to do, and it's great to see that sub count go up and up, albeit slowly.

Not bad at all! On a pure marketing perspective, your logo/video quality and everything else is generally on point.
Watching through your recent video, my advice (in regards to getting more attention) would be to talk as if your audience is already there, if that makes any sense. You introduce yourself early into the video, which I felt disrupted the flow a tad bit. It's annoying to draw comparisons to bigger Youtubers that do a similar commentary style, but they are usually right into it with a stronger personality. Of course, the ironic thing is that you are addressing the notion of "selling out" in this video, so I wouldn't say the cure is to mimic them directly. Just some food for thought. Good stuff all in all
