So, RTS seem really engaging recently. Trying to get in some awesome-AF little bots to an adjacent base to undercut his economy is super neat. Yet, the game browsers are empty. What are some fun RTS with a community? Not much on FA or TA.
RTS's are just fighting games with a molecular degree of control.

Sure they do. All RTS games have rely on unit composition, tactics, and action sequence. A player following a build order is nothing different than a player chaining moves. A player mixing units and unit abilities is nothing different. Both games involve the deliberate, timed execution of complementary actions to achieve victory over an opponent.
Reversing the points highlight that the terms are interchangeable.

Then the same could be said about any 2 genres. TBS is the same as RTS. Fighting games are the same as platformers.

The truth is plain before your eyes. All you need to do is look at how fighting game players and RTS players accessorize. Joysticks are but only the mechanical keyboards of the console world.
