Doom 4 for me, easily.
Dark Souls III is a very distant second (shows how much vidya sucks now).
Literally everything else has been shit.
It's a tie between DOOM and Cat Girl Without Salad: Amuse-Bouche for me.

I'd say doom if the demons looked like actual demons, not failed human/alien hybrid zombie experiments.
I haven't played much this year.
Still playing Rocket League non-stop.
From what I did play this year, Rhythm Heaven MegaMix is the best. The game just doesn't end and it's a ton of fun.I'M FUCKING STUCK ON LOCKSTEP

Doom, and I honestly don't know what else. I'm still playing stuff from last year for the most part. Uncharted 4 was pretty fun, I guess, but if you've played the others, it's pretty much the same thing, just with the sliding, and grappling hook mechanics added.
doom is the only high profile game ive played this year but I wasn't particularly impressed with it
shadow warrior 2 still looks way better imo i don't think they even have a release date for that one though

Hell Knight fits that descriptor. Baron of Hell, too, but I don't think it looks as good.
