If you engage in world pvp lvl 100 guards spawn in EVERY settlement. It has to be in the middle of fucking nowhere and even then a lvl 100 can just fly in and aoe you all in 2 seconds.

The skill pruning was the final nail in the coffin for me. Once that happened, it was dead to me. I could tolerate the new talent builds from Cata, at least the classes still had the majority of their abilities with a few of them being chopped by the talent tree. But man, once they removed tons of moves and simplified the combat abilities, game was fucked.
I distinctly remember in Cata being on my hunter doing a trial heroic dungeon like a couple weeks after launch. I was the best geared character on my server at the time (lol blues) and wanted to raid with a high end guild. I ran that new blackrock dungeon, the one with the ogre first boss and warlock chick second boss. I told them I could solo CC all 3 dog adds on the corehound boss fight. They didn't believe me until I pulled it off flawlessly. I instantly for a ginvite after. A few months later, Blizzard nerfed the freezing trap to prevent this exact scenario.

I was so genuinely distraught when they nerfed this. It was so fun to pull off and made you feel like a boss. This is exactly what Blizzard doesn't want you to feel. They want everyone to feel the same so no one feels underpowered of inferior to another player. Lower the skill ceiling, and everyone is the same walking potential. Game is garbage and I will never resub.
