I actually just started Final Fantasy XIV and it is alot better than I expected. Much more WoWish than XI though, but it still has it's own quirks. Although it shares the same problem with most of the MMOs I've played recently; the early content is barren of people and everyone is around endgame. Also grinding to endgame as fast as possible as opposed to actually having a balanced fun game.
