Careful with Arkham origins if you played Arkham City. The city in Origins is just a tiny portion of the city in City. Getting around is so fucking slow that the game has fast travel.

Massive Chalice is crap. It has a few unique ideas, but the core gameplay loop, the tactical combat, fucking sucks ass. No cover, no overwatch, no reaction abilities. You run your dudes towards the enemies, attack in turns, use a few abilities, and either win or lose.
I repeat, this is a turn-based combat game like XCOM without cover, without overwatch, without flanking.

If you're not a total retard and make an informed purchase by doing some research first, you wouldn't need to refund unless the games don't work.
If you bought games at the start of the sale (since prices remain the same the entire sale anyway), then even if you did need a refund on a bundle, you would have the money back in time to repurchase the individual games that you do want to keep from the bundle.

XCOM is good, though has some problems with difficulty dropping if you manage to survive the start game rape and upgrade your gear without important countries dropping out. Remember to play on Classic Ironman mode.
Styx has some problems with awfully shitty map screen with no proper directions (if you're the type to prefer no objective markers), but is a pretty good stealth game with lots of vertical platforming. Another problem is that despite being a thief game, you only get the extra EXP reward if you find ALL the collectibles in a map (instead of each collectible providing a small EXP increase) which feels pretty bullshit and not fun.
Crysis is pretty neat due to suit abilities and open maps, though as a shooter it's not that impressive. For that price a definite recommendation though.

RELEASE ORDER is best order.
1. Shadow of Chernobyl is the first game and has the best story.
2. Clear Sky is a shoddy prequel (second game in release order) with a boring and broken faction system, plus it spoils the first game. Few good new areas though.
3. Call of Pripyat is the last game both release and chronological wise. Best gameplay mechanics and side quests, though the story isn't that great, but provides some conclusions to the series as a whole.
I'd personally recommend playing Shadow of Chernobyl first, skipping Clear Sky and playing Call of Pripyat next.
Remember to play on MASTER (highest) difficulty as it decreases not only your, but also the enemies' bullet sponginess.

The writing's not great overall, but it's more that it's inconsistent than that it's all bad. To me the bigger issue was that the game is done in shorter scenarios with unique mechanics instead of a single long campaign, so you don't get that feeling of constant progression like in XCOM.

TEW is pretty great now that it's been patched to be a proper game instead of a "cinematic experience" you should probably get the DLC also.
The Long Dark is pretty light on content, it's not really a survival game, more of a walking sim than anything and the survival aspects aren't well balanced (hunting a deer gives you enough meat for 1 night, walking for 10 minutes leaves you starving to death, deadly tired and dying of thirst)

I'm disappointed with it and I got it for around 25€. It's one campaign with 10(or so) maps and they all have the same objectives slightly shuffled about between maps. It's repetitive, the gambling/loot takes ages/luck-based and fps can tank sometimes. One playthrough with a friend or more and it's pretty good but after that you're essentially done with it. Get L4D2 instead, tons of maps and custom content.

Yeah that's what I suspected. I bought it because I love L4D and enjoy Warhammer so killing two birds with one stone but it was really underwhelming in the end.
You have hordes, and tanks and smokers (melee though) and spitters and hunters etc. So in essence it's a reskinned L4D which is fine since it's a good concept but there are so few maps and there are no variations in mechanics. Weapon customization is nice, 1hands, 2hands, sword and board etc but ultimately it makes little difference. If you've got money to blow go for it but otherwise I can't recommend it.

I honestly haven't played much of either, but I can give you some information. No idea what the multiplayer is like.
Company of Heroes is more like a traditional RTS, with some resource management and base building. It's way slower than starcraft or AoE, and has an emphasis on cover and controlling the map region by region. Kind of similar to Dawn of War 1.
Men of War is more realistic, and has more micromanagement. It feels more like an actual "wargame" than an RTS. There's actual calculation of ballistics and armor thickness/angle for vehicles. You can also take control over individual units if you want, which can be pretty fun.

Just get Warband it's like the first game but with added features, the only DLC worth getting is Napoleonic Wars and that is if you can find a server with people playing it. Viking Conquest is a paid mod, you might as well get it for free it's called 'Brytenwalda'.
