It does. Like I said I played Roadhog in all 10 games, and Roadhog is basically a guaranteed 3-4 gold medals every game if you play him well
Support usually only yeilds a gold medal in healing, and gold medals counts towards the competitive rank

I've played hundreds of hours of "comp" games full of admittedly cancerous communities, CS GO etc, but nothing beats the level of fucking stupidity of your average overwatch player, I solo queue those games and while it's certainly unpleasant it's nothing like this shitshow.

2. Two of my Comp games had this happen and I was the only fucking one left. A third one happened to the enemy team, but despite them only having 4, they still nearly beat us. I ended up 49 because of those two games and one with a clearly clanned-up trio of assholes, one of which was a Pharah who was flying around at seemingly boosted-Lucio speeds the entire match, I shit you not she was flying like a goddamn jet the whole time.
I've had a fucking curse on me for years. No matter what team I'm on, I seem to have an aura that makes my team completely fucking forget how to play. TFC, CS, TF2, Overwatch, even various fucking MMO PvP battlegrounds and shit. Then one or two guys will swap or I'll get forced to the other team and SURPRISE! They stop sucking!It's not really me is it? I'm by NO means amazing or even great, but I can hold my own. Half the time in TF2 or Overwatch I'm the only one that makes any -progress-, taking out sentries, bastions, dangerous players, but the team never follows up. I don't know at this point though.

The whole idea around blitz's grab was to ruin the positioning of the enemy team and cause fear and when you land a hook your team deals all the damage, they take advantage of that disposition.

The thing is, you should be able to carry bad teams, anon, if you were good. So if you aren't good enough to carry your teams to a win (which is extremely possible to do in an FPS) then your ranking will be about right. You should play more games though to see which ranking you hover around. If you keep going up/down around 50 then it means that right now you're as good as 50. With time this number you keep hovering around will improve as you get better and are able to carry teams more.

Well did anyone have more than 19 eliminations? Usually when a team is losing they like to complain to the easiest target, and the easiest target is usually a Hanzo if he's there. I have 22 hours on Hanzo (although I don't play him in comp because I'm not too consistent with him yet) and every time our team is losing and I have gold elims and damage done, there will always be someone telling me to switch the Hanzo because obviously I'm the one making the team lose.

The only times there should be no snipers is when they have 2 Winstons or 2 Genjis constantly going for you. That's when you switch because you'll be dead all the time and there's not much you can do about it. Other than that you should be able to do fine.

If you want to have fun in comp, queue as a duo at the very least. Two people constantly working together (whether it's Pharah/Mercy, Winston/Winston, or any other productive combination) is way better than six who aren't.

One loss a guy that left right as the game started -- if he had left 5 seconds sooner the match would have been cancelled. The map was Volskaya, we held out pretty well on defense but got brick walled on attack as most of our team had given up.

Unless we ask them directly we don't know. Projectile is done with a collision detection box most likely and hitscan is just done by drawing a ray until it intersects terrain and seeing if it struck an opponent's box. Seeing it work in game, I'm not sure what it is. Seeing it work makes me think it's projectile.
