Nah, im pretty sure itll be like 800 something, especially when you consider that tweet McRibs said to the MKX guy complaining that MKX starts earlier than GG, but wizard says GG has way more entrants than MK. MK sits at around 400, so if its way more, its probably at 800

SF has always been the golden boy of traditional fighting games. The entire FGC owes its current state to the franchise, so even of the game isnt so hot, the community will still play the game.
At this point, its not a matter of whether or not another fighting game is better, its all about brand recognition.
