Has 1.01 fixed any of the latency issues for anyone? Updated and I'm still having to go into the options every other song to adjust the ms delay.

I made the adjustment test like 30 times and took the average. No problems since then.
FT is my first Miku game and I'm considering getting PDX when it comes out. What's the over/under on brand new tracks to returning hits in the home releases for these games?

Different games.
Future Tone has a lot more content, digital only and more expensive if you buy both packs. It is also an arcade experience at the core so no diva room or any other fancy modes. Inputs are harder and might take some time getting used to.
Diva X has only 30-40 songs, but it is getting a domestic physical release, has extra modes and easier inputs.

You can google the song lists for each and decide for yourself.
X might be easier to get for cheap pre-owned or on a sale, Future Tone might be harder unless you keep close track of JP PSN sales.

How are you guys managing songs like Rolling Girl on extreme with a controller? I told myself I'd just get good enough to surpass the dualshock's shortcomings, but I just don't see it happening with certain songs

I wouldn't know, becauseI play the game so casually my end goal is to get all Es on normal, maybe hard if I feel daring, for VH I'm satisfied enough with a regular clear, and I can't survive a single song on Extreme.
