Not true. DPFix does fix stuff but it can't actually make the game run more stable. It depends on the alignment of stars and shit.

I picked it up on a whim after a friend suggested it to me.
I loved it and it ran perfectly with out a single crash ever.
I only found out later that the PC port is unstable as shit and has the chance to just crash nonstop. And that my friend had recommended it as a joke, and his real advice was "bro, just watch a lets play of it, its the same thing"

I never used DPfix when I played through this game.
I only ever used the technical sticky on the steam forums whenever I encountered a problem. The main problem with this game are crashes during certain segments of the game but usually restarting the computer fixes it.

It's really great if you like the idea of being a super spy. You get all the mundane looking gadgets, disguises, and fun setpeices like rappeling down through a laser grid in a temperature sensitive room with a pressure sensitive floor to hack the database.
