Keep in mind the DLC can end up costing the same, if not more than the games even at release, and that Vita versions have content that's exclusive to them. Only reason I'd recommend the triple pack is if you don't have a Vita and don't plan on getting one.

The Seraph revives him as Midboss and they go through the entire plan to hope to unite Celestia and the Netherworld through Flonne and Laharl, because they both trust the two of them. Laharl's mom helps too.
At the end of the game Laharl's parents literally stand there and thank him for finally understanding and having love in his heart and not killing the Seraph.
