So after getting impatient with the Amazon/Aksys shit I decided that the watch is a piece of plastic shit and I don't need it, so I canceled my order and bought the game digitally. I feel like a weight was lifted off my shoulders,and now I missed out on all 3 fucking watches.
Finally finished. Spoiler free review.
It was an amazing close to the series, even if it didn't go the way I expected it. I can see why some people find the ending disappointing though, and there are unanswered questions--ones that may never be answered. Puzzles were retty good, nothing that caused me to lose my wits though I did get stuck occasionally.
However, VLR and 999 -are- superior games. This game never quite matches their atmosphere. VLR's ending was so amazing, though, I can never forget it. This one maybe plays it...too safe?
